Massage

Massages I offer

  • Swedish massage

I use techniques such as kneading, long strokes, deep circular movements, and passive joint movements. These techniques are meant to relax you, stimulate nerve endings, and increase blood flow and lymph drainage.

  • Deep tissue

Deep tissue massage targets the inner layers of your muscles, tendons, and fascia (dense connective tissue). Deep tissue massage is similar to Swedish massage and uses many of the same stroking and kneading movements as Swedish massage, but there is far more pressure. It is more suited to those with a more specific problem area or injury.

  • Thai massage

Having learnt Thai massage at Wat Po in Bangkok I got to see first-hand the history of Thai massage and the benefits. Thai massage is performed very differently to Swedish massage. However, the benefits are similar; relaxing muscles and reduced stress, coupled with increased energy.
